80’s Live At The Parr Hall 🕺 🎤 

If you're into 80s music, there's a huge event coming up you won't want to miss!

On Friday the 20th at 7:30 pm, 80s Live will be in town at the Parr Hall.

It’s a live show packed with all the big hits from legends like Wham, Madonna, Rick Astley, and more.

Expect to dance along to classics like Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Never Gonna Give You Up. Get ready to dress up and relive the 80s—it’s going to be a night to remember.

Sunday 22nd September - Road Closures For Warrington Running Festival

Sunday is the Warrington Running Festival. This was mentioned in an earlier edition back in August, but I thought it was worth mentioning again, as there will be some road closures you will need to know about.

Warrington Running Festival is a ROAD-CLOSED running event, meaning that the following roads will be closed at the specified times:

  • Sankey Street, Winmarleigh Street – 07:00 – 13:00

  • Wilson Patten Street, Bridgefoot – 08:30 – 12:30

  • Mersey Street– 08:30 – 09:45

  • Knutsford Road (Eastbound) 08:45 – 10:00

  • Knutsford Road (Westbound) – 08:45 – 12:30

  • Bridge Street, Rylands Street, Suez Street – 08:45 – 12:30

  • Wash Lane, Loushers Lane, Ackers Road, Station Road – 09:00 – 12:00

  • Grappenhall Road, Chester Road – 09:15 – 11:45

  • Lumb Brook Road, Witherwin Avenue, New Lane – 09:15 – 11:00

  • Grappenhall Lane – 09:15 – 11:15

  • Broad Lane, Church Lane – 09:20 – 11:30
