I get many replies to my welcome email asking what the best restaurant is in Warrington, and a good selection of these are curry houses.

This week is national curry week, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to find out what your favourite Indian restaurant is around town.

Al Murray's bringing his "Guv Island" tour to town on Friday, 18th October 2024, at 7:30pm. Tickets start from £30

Expect his classic Pub Landlord humour, taking on the state of the UK with plenty of laughs. It’s all about cutting through the nonsense with his no-nonsense, old-school style.

🤣 Comedy Night - Lymm Rugby Club, 8pm | Top comedians Dan Nightingale, Chris Washington, (plus 1 TBC), and MC Rob Riley are all coming to Lymm Comedy Club

😁 Nerf Night - Airbase1 Inflatable Park, 6pm - 8pm | 1 hour of Nerf fights and 1 hour of bounce

🔨 Sand Casting Workshop - Fox Studios, 10am | Morning: Learn sandcasting and carve waxes. Afternoon: Cast your items in brass or silver. Limited to 4 students for more time.

🧶 Mosaic Crochet Workshop - Stitch Station, 10am | Learn how to crochet with like minded people.

👶 Open Day Dunkys Day Nursery - Forrest School @ Gullivers, 12pm | There will be lots of activities for kids and parents to join in, so it’s a great chance to check out the Forest School and have some fun!

🎤 Step Into Elton - Burtonwood Community Centre, 7:30pm | Step in to Elton - Tribute to Elton John’ is the UK`s Leading Tribute to the wonderful Reginald Kenneth Dwight or Sir Elton John as we all know him.

🎤 Oasis Tribute - Seven Woods Pub, 9pm | If you're craving that raw, powerful sound Oasis belted out in the iconic '90s, then look no further.

🎃 Halloween Artisan Market - Chapelford Farm Pub, 10am - 4pm | Over 20 stalls. FREE children’s craft table and much much more.

⚽️ Culcheth Athletic Family Fundraiser - Daten FC, 7pm | Family fun night to raise money for our lovely club. Food, disco, raffle, games, bingo, prizes and more!

🔨 Lymm Repair Cafe - Lymm Village Hall, 10am | Run by volunteers. A free event held monthly.

🎤 Luther Live - Parr Hall, 7:30pm | The World’s premier show in celebration of ‘The Velvet Voice’ experience all the hits from his amazing career.

🧘 Puppy Yoga - Lymm, 1pm | This is an hour-long yoga session with puppies.

🛍️ Warrington Makers Market - Time Square, 11am - 4pm | Bring you family, friends & pooches for a mooch around the Warrington Makers Market.

🎨 Free Craft Table at Makers Market - Time Square, 11am - 4pm | Free crafts for people to have a go at.

🎵 Warrington Record Fair - Warrington Market, 11am - 4pm | Warrington Record Fair returns to Warrington Market for a bimonthly event.

😀 Callands Litter Pick—Hoop and Mallet Pub, 10am | If you want to do something for the community, come and help them litter pick.

🫖 Halloween Tango Tea Dance - Croft Village Memorial Hall, 2pm - 8pm | A very social event with excellent company, and there will be all levels of tango folk there at different levels of the tango journey.

🚲️ Indoor Cycle Jumble Sale - Walton Hall Riding School, 10am - 2pm | Second jumble held at this location, easy to get to and indoors, wide range of cycles, parts, and accessories for sale at bargain prices.
