New Look Blue Bell Pub 🔔 🍺 

The Blue Bell got new owners back in February, and they recently gave the pub a makeover.

We think it looks great. It’s now blue, which suits the name. The owners said they wanted to freshen it up and bring some life back into the place. However, they wanted to keep its traditional look and heritage.

Judging by the pictures, they have done a great job. It's worth calling if you are in town. The food looks fantastic as well. We will call in to review the food soon.

Creamfields ⛺️ 

Could you hear Creamfields from where you were?

Creamfields finished yesterday, but it got off to a bad start on Friday due to the weather.

There are videos on the Guardian site of tents almost taking off and one of the food stalls damaged by the wind, which is a real shame. Luckily, things brightened up, and we hope everyone had a good time.

Traffic will be busy today with people leaving the area.

☕️ B’s memory cafe - Belong, Warrington, 2pm - 4pm | A dementia-friendly café for those living with dementia and their loved ones.

🎨 Art and craft club: - Victoria House, Knutsford Road, 5pm—8pm | Make forever flowers, learn to crochet and knit, make clay, and lots more.

🧒 Nursery rhymes summer special - Alexandra Park, Stockton Heath, 10am - 11am | This is for children aged between 2 and 8 to learn French.

🎨 Floating tea cup class - Blooming Art, 10am - 4pm | Learn how to make your own floating tea cup using a variety of techniques.

🎸 Acoustic jam night - Albion Pub, 8pm - 11pm | Go and jam on your guitar with like-minded people.

Friday

🧶 Beginners crochet classes - Bents Garden Centre, 10am - 12pm | If you want to learn crochet, this is the place to give it a go.

🙏 Sound bath - St Mary Magdalene's Church Hall, 8pm | A Friday evening sound bath experience with soothing sounds that promote deep relaxation and stress relief.
