Children in Need Quiz With Alan Dedicoat 🧠
Get ready for a fun night out for a great cause. Join Children in Need Quiz Night at The Village Club in Culcheth on Sunday, 24th November 2024, hosted by none other than Alan Dedicoat—famous as the voice of the National Lottery draw, and the current announcer for Strictly Come Dancing in the UK and Dancing with the Stars in the USA.
The quiz kicks off at 7:30 PM sharp, with tickets priced at £12 per person, which includes a hot supper. Teams of four can take part, so gather your friends and test your trivia skills! Tickets are available at The Village Club or directly from Nick Robins (contact details on the poster). All proceeds support Children in Need, so come along, enjoy a night of quizzing, and make a difference.
Community Litter Pick 🚮
Join the Great Sankey community for a litter pick on Sunday, 17th November 2024 at 10:00 AM! Meet at the Leisure Centre car park off Lingley Green Avenue (use what3words: ///keeps.spin.rice for precise location).
Bring along your own gloves, suitable clothing, and sturdy boots. All other equipment and bags will be provided. It’s a fantastic way to keep our community clean and green, and every bit of help makes a difference.

🚴 Cycle Interest Group Ride - Transpennine Trail Ranger Station, 10am | Longer rides of around 25 to 40 miles dependent upon time of year and weather conditions.

🎅 Festive Wednesdays - Bents Garden Centre, 5pm | Wednesday evenings throughout November as they get you into the festive spirit whilst enjoying a festive mulled wine and a mince pie* for a donation
🌲 Dress Your Tree - Bents Garden Centre, 6pm | Get into the holiday spirit as Kelly from their talented Visual Merchandising team shares her secrets on how to beautifully decorate a Christmas tree.
🏃 Riv Runners Children in Need - Village Hotel, 7pm | Why not don your Pudsey ears, wear something yellow and come join them on Wednesday, 13th November, for a Pudsey Plod
🎨 Pastel Workshop with Les Darlow - Bruche, 10am | Learn about mark making, texture, energy and movement and how to look at simpler shapes rather than details.
🍼 Dance Like a Mother (Babywearing Dance Class) - Newchurch Parish Hall, 1pm | Get Active, Dance to awesome tunes & get snuggly bonding time with your baby (yes babies often fall asleep!)
