We Visited The Eagle and Spaceman for Wing Wednesday 🍗🍺

Last Wednesday, a few friends and I checked out Wing Wednesday at The Eagle and Spaceman on Church Street, run by the same people behind Café at the End of the Universe in the market – a Warrington favourite.

For 90 minutes, it’s unlimited wings, and with five of us there, we got through a fair amount. The first batch came with chips, which were lovely.

All the wings were delicious, but my favourite was the honey and garlic – seriously good stuff. The drinks menu didn’t disappoint either, with Camden Stout being our unanimous favourite. I was driving, so I was on Diet Coke, but next time we are in town, we will head down to test out some more beers.

Parking’s easy, with the new Timesquare car park just a short walk away.

Wing Wednesday is a must-try if you’re looking for a midweek treat.

Where Are We Today? 🤔 📸

One of my favourite features, it’s simple, we’ll take a photo of somewhere in Warrington, and you tell us where!

The answer will be in Friday’s newsletter.

House Of The Week 🏠️

This week’s house is a newly refurbished three-bedroom bungalow on Chapel Road in Penketh, a popular area in Warrington. It’s tucked away on a private road and has some great features, like a south-facing garden and no chain, making it move-in ready.

Inside, it’s got a nice formal lounge with a new fireplace and flooring, a kitchen that flows into a bright conservatory, and three decent-sized bedrooms. The outside space is low-maintenance with a patio for outdoor relaxing, plus there’s a driveway and a garage with an electric door.

If you’re after a bungalow with modern updates and a bit of outdoor space, this might be worth checking out.
