New Marks and Spencer Cafe, Warrington Wordle, What's On This Week

Good morning, Warrington. It’s Monday, and From Warrington is here to start your week off right. We’ve got all the latest town news and events wrapped up in just a few minutes—faster than you can find a free parking spot at Golden Square on a Saturday (which can really take forever).

In today’s edition:

  • What’s on this week 📆

  • We visit the new Marks and Spencer cafe ☕️

  • A custom “Warrington Wordle.” 🧠

Let’s jump right in.

Marks and Spencer Cafe Reopens ☕️

Those of you who visit the Marks and Spencer cafe upstairs at Gemini will know just how popular the cafe is. If I take my mum shopping, she always wants to call in for a coffee, so I have visited here many times.

It’s recently been refurbished, so we went to check it out.

We were there early on a Sunday morning. The way you order has totally changed, as there are now touch screens, just like you would get in McDonald’s.

It was honestly an effortless experience. There are loads of staff around to help you.

If you have used a McDonalds touch screen before, you will have no issues using these.

It meant less time queuing up (sometimes the queues there took ages). You take a little buzzer that you put on your table, and then they bring over your drinks and food.

Warrington took on the London Broncos on Sunday. It was a great game, with The Wire winning 36-22. This leaves us sitting third in the table, just behind Wigan and Hull KR.
