Let’s get to it.

Review: Krapow Thai Restaurant

Did you know there's a new Thai restaurant in town?

Even though it's new, these guys used to do the most amazing Thai food in the market. They have now moved out of the market and into The Hive, located right on the front of Sankey Street. It's been here a few months, so it was time to give it a try.

I went for the Massaman curry, and my wife went for the fresh ginger dish with chicken. The portions were a good size. The Massaman curry was the best dish of the 2, and this was washed down with a pint of Cobra that they had on draft.

We were lucky to get a table. It opened at 5 p.m., and we arrived at 5:05 p.m. They were fully booked. Fortunately, they could accommodate us on a table of 2, but they needed us back by 6:30 p.m., which was OK with us.

Overall, it was a great experience. It's a great little restaurant with friendly staff and very tasty Thai food. It was great to see it so busy. Give it a go if you want somewhere new to try food; you won’t be disappointed.

Where Are We Today?

Mike, the editor, went for a nice walk and made the most of the weekend's nice weather. Where was he taking a walk? Answers will be in Wednesday’s edition.

Where Were We Last Friday

Well done to those of you who got it right. Only a few people asked for clues. The lovely rainbow picture was taken at Marks and Spencer Car Park at Gemini.
