Good morning, Warrington! Mike here, bringing you a quick roundup of what’s happening around town. Grab a brew, settle in, and catch up on all the local goings-on in just five minutes—easy reading to start your day.

In today’s From Warrington:

  • 👍️ Preserve Pasha's Outdoor Pods

  • 🎸 Neighbourhood Weekender is back in 2025

  • 🏠️ House of the Week

  • 📸 Where Are We Wednesday

Let’s get to it.

Neighbourhood Weekender To Return in 2025 🎸

Neighbourhood Weekender is making its big return in 2025 after a year off. Since 2018, this beloved festival has brought top music acts to Victoria Park each May bank holiday, and fans were disappointed when it took a break this year. But mark your calendars—it's back from Friday, 23rd May to Sunday, 25th May, promising another round of fantastic performances.

Preserve Pasha's Pathos: Stop the Dismantling of Outdoor Structures 🍸️

Have you been to Pasha? It’s what was called the Old Town House and it’s a much-loved spot in Warrington run by Harry and Denise.

Warrington Borough Council has ordered the removal of Pasha’s iconic outdoor ‘Pods,’ which are a key part of its unique vibe. These Pods aren’t just structures—they’re where countless memories and connections have been made. After years of hard work, especially through the struggles of COVID, Harry and Denise have made Pasha a community hub.

Many locals are standing together to ask the council to reconsider. If you want to support Pasha, please consider signing the petition to save the Pods!

House of the Week 🏠️

This week’s featured home is a spacious three-bedroom detached house on Warrington Road, Risley, with an asking price of over £285,000.

Recently decorated with new carpets, this family home includes a lounge, dining room, and conservatory, offering plenty of room to spread out. The master bedroom comes with an ensuite and fitted wardrobes, while the large garden is perfect for family gatherings or kids’ play. With driveway parking, a garage, and easy access to local amenities and transport links, this move-in-ready home is worth a look for those seeking space and convenience.
