TJ Hughes Opening Where Debenhams Was

I've read a lot of mixed reactions to this. Personally, I think it's a positive thing for the town. There is a massive retail unit that is empty, and someone is taking over and using the space. There aren’t many other shops that could take over such a large space.

Let’s be happy we are getting a shop opening (and not closing) in the town centre’s great news.

⛴️ Spike Island Work Party Clean Up

If you can spare a few hours and want to do a good deed, then help the guys out at Spike Island to tidy up the canal bank, litter pick and just generally get stuck in with whatever help they need. Check out their Facebook page for more information.

Where Are We Today?

One of my favourite features, it’s simple, we’ll take a photo of somewhere in Warrington, and you tell us where!

The answer will be in Friday’s newsletter and you can also see other peoples guesses over on our Instagram.

It’s a little cut-through in town (very central), the building in the background should be your clue.
