Fix Your Broken Items at Repair Cafes 🔨

Repair Cafés are such a brilliant idea—volunteers with a knack for fixing things come together to help people repair items that might otherwise end up in the bin.

Not only does this save money, but it also reduces waste and brings the community together. If you've got something in need of a bit of TLC, check out these upcoming Repair Cafés:

St Elphins Repair Cafe - Saturday 10am - 1pm

The Pavilion Tea Rooms, Manchester Road, WA1 3AN, Warrington

Hosted by Friends of St Elphin's Park, this repair café offers free repairs for items like clothing, small electronics, and kitchen tools (think blown fuses, missing buttons, broken zips, blunt knives, and more). While you wait, enjoy a cuppa and a chat in the Pavilion Tea Rooms—another great opportunity to connect with locals.

Lymm Repair Cafe - Saturday 10am - 1pm

Lymm Village Hall, WA13 0JB

This free, monthly event is run by volunteers who repair a wide range of items, including small electrical appliances, clothing, tools, clocks, costume jewellery, and even furniture. There’s also a pop-up café serving homemade cakes and drinks while you wait. If they can't fix it on the spot, they'll advise you on next steps or where to go for further help. Donations are welcome to keep the event running.
