Santa Dash and What Do You Think of the Town's Christmas Tree?
Good morning, Warrington. Mike here, bringing you another fresh edition of local news. Sit back, relax, and let’s catch up on what’s going on this week.

Let’s get to it.

Santa Dash @ Walton Gardens 🎅 🏃

Get your festive spirit on and join the 3K Santa Dash/Walk at Walton Gardens on Sunday, 8th December 2024.
The event starts at 10:00 am, with an entry fee of £10, which includes a 5-piece Santa suit to really get you into the Christmas mood.
Thi event is organised by Warrington Disability Partnership and promises fun for everyone, whether you’re dashing or strolling through the scenic Walton Gardens.

What Do You Think of the Town Centre Christmas Tree? 🤔🎄
I saw an article recently where people had called out the tree for not being that good. When I was in town, I took a picture of it. I thought I’d run a poll to get your opinions on it. I think it’s quite good. What do you think?

Christmas Tree Festival 🎄

Visit the St. Oswald’s Christmas Tree Festival for a simple and festive way to enjoy the season while supporting a good cause.
Thursday, 5th December: The event opens at 2pm with a performance by the Winwick CE Primary School choir and Rev. Martin Cox.
Friday, 6th December: Open from 1pm to 4pm.
Saturday, 7th December: Open from 10am to 4pm.
Entry is £5 for adults and £1 for children, with proceeds going to St. Oswald’s Church funds.
The trees, decorated by local businesses, are a delightful display for all to enjoy.

Warrington Wordle (#51) 🧠
I have some bad news for Wordle fans. Wordle will be moving to Wednesdays only from now on. My plan is that Monday and Friday will be replaced by some other trivia, which I will have to consider for the rest of the year.
