We Visit Patina - The Latest Addition To Palmyra Square 🍸️🍔

A few weeks ago, we covered Patina's opening on Palmyra Square. If you are not sure where it is, it's just across the road from The Grill on the Square (this newsletter's favourite restaurant, according to the replies I get to my welcome email 😉 )

I decided to call in to try it out so I can tell you what it’s like. Having driven past it a few times at night, it looks very fancy for Warrington.

The food is all about sharing plates, and there is plenty of choice on the menu. They also have some pizzas on the menu as well.

We ordered:

  • Mini burgers

  • Chips with chicken curry on top

  • Thai fish cakes

  • Battered prawns

I am all about being positive in this newsletter, but I honestly couldn’t think of anything bad to say about it. It had good food, good service, a lovely interior, and a great location.

Our favourite dish was the chips with chicken curry on top.

Have you been to Patina? Let me know what you thought of it.

The Rooftop At The Grand Opening Soon 🍸️

Have you heard that The Grand (formerly Big Bar, on Bridge Street) is opening a fancy new rooftop terrace soon? Well, now you do! It’s opening on the 16th of November.

It looks fantastic, and it's another excellent addition to the town. Once it's open, we will visit it and do a little write up in the newsletter for you.

Here is a link to their Instagram for more information.
