Warrington Oktoberfest (Walton Gardens)

Walton Gardens Oktoberfest is returning in 2024 after a great debut last year! It’ll be held at The Old Riding School, which will be transformed into a huge beer hall. Expect steins, traditional German food, and live Oompah bands to get everyone in the Bavarian spirit.

When is it? Friday, 4th October, and Saturday, 5th October, with multiple sittings.

Find out more or get tickets on their website.

Do You Remember The Waysiders? 🛍️

Remember The Waysiders? It was one of those shops that everyone seemed to love. People still talk about how it had the perfect gift for any occasion—a wedding, a birthday, or something special for the house. It was packed with unique things you no longer see in town.

People remember going in with their mums and being told, “Hands in your pockets!” so they didn’t break anything. It was the kind of shop that made shopping in Warrington feel special, and people still cherish the things they bought there.

It’s a shame shops like that don’t exist much anymore, and The Waysiders will always hold a special place in Warrington’s heart.

🏉 Warrington vs St Helens took place over the weekend.

What a match it was. Were you on the edge of your seat watching it? I was. Warrington won 23-22 with a golden point drop goal. Just when you thought we had thrown it away right at the end of the game, we pulled it out of the bag.
